Alice's Adventures by @devsisters [a Short Review by HBB (@headboysband)]
The Story - Alice is wondering in the wood and met two rabbits and they requested Alice to help them to retrieve the treasure in the bottom of the rabbit hole. that's the opening story.
The Game Menu - There are there button, Tutorial, Start and Rank. there is also a "more games" link that takes you to the devsisters's website for other games they have developed. The tutorial is very helpful and detailed recommend you all go through it before you press the start button. (I think there is a mistake in Tutorial where it says " The top right hand corner shows you what shape Alice must bend her body to pass thru." I believe it is on the top left hand corner not the right hand corner that shows what Alice has to bend.) The Rank section shows your total points earned after each play and the World Ranking which needs Internet connection.
The Game Play - Alice is doing a free-fall into the rabbit hole and what you have to do is bending her body into whatever the shapes you see on the top left corner of the screen. You also have three items to collect while doing your bending. A Rabbit which scores you up by one thousand points and Skull Rabbit which scores you down by one thousand points. and lastly the potion that will heal your Alice if she is hit when not making a perfect bending. (There is a red line in the bottom of the screen and it will be shorten whenever she gets hit and soon will die if the red line runs out.) It gets more difficult after each stage.
Overall Experience & Feedback - Nice Icon for the app. and it really grabs my (and other guys') eyes. Although I know I could be wrong but I do judge an iPhone app by its icon. I am writing this short review after two game play. I did well on first stage and second stage without getting Alice hit on the wall. I have collected 35 cards of required 20 cards on each stage. However, I couldn't get through third stage because I had hard time figuring out how to bend her and time runs out before I know it. It's fun playing this game and you have to do some thinking as well as racing the time. I think someone used to be a cheerleader may play better than me. the game play is smooth and no crashing. The music and the graphic are good as other apps developed by the developer. I hope the developer could add a save feature after clearing each stage so that I don't have to start-over. I will get tired of playing the app if I have to start-over again and again. I like to see what the end of the game is like and a save feature is a must. The money will be wasted if you don't finished the game (not just this game but all iPhone game Apps). Then again, I don't think I will keep playing if Alice keeps dying. I have seem other similar apps such as, Crash!! The most stupid race, with the same concept where you have to bend the character's limbs. You could give Crash!! The most stupid race a try if like Alice's Adventures. However, I have to say that Alice's Adventures is the best among them all so far.
(I don't like uploading pic and only use screenshots from the devsisters's website. That's why you won't see any screenshots on this review and the only one here is the pic from the devsisters's website.)
